Floors
Ceramic tile; fully vitrified tiles preferred; ceramic tile
cove base required. All tiles should be semi-glazed, non-slip;
provide a marble threshold minimum 50mm width not to exceed
8mm above surrounding surfaces.
Marble, preferred standard should be number one grade
polished surface, free from fissures and faults; submit
samples for hardness and scratch testing. Marble required
for Towers, Suites and Deluxe Resorts.
Falls to floor outlet.
Walls
Wall surfaces not ceramic tiled or marble tiled should receive
a fabric backed vinyl wall covering; minimum 750g sq metre
face weight; wall sizing to be provided prior to application
of wall covering; mildew proof removable vinyl adhesive.
Marble required for Towers, Suites and Deluxe Resorts.
All wall substrate to be water-proofed.
Walls within tub or shower enclosure to be tiled to ceiling.
