Guest Bathrooms Accessible
Accessories
In accessible (ADA) guest
bathrooms, provide the following accessories in addition
to
typical bath accessories described above. Include same or
complementary finishes as indicated for bath accessories.
• Bathtub Transfer Bench: Vinyl covered, cushioned
seat
and backrest with wraparound, clear, anodized legs and
tub clamp system for secure attachment to tub wall. One
transfer bench for every ten (or fraction thereof)
accessible bathtubs.
• Bathtub Seat: White plastic seat and brushed stainless
steel legs and rubber leg tips. Locate at each accessible
bathtub.
• Grab Bars: Fasten to withstand 160 kg (350 lbs)
force in
any direction in accessible bathrooms: 30 cm (12 inch)
long and 76 cm (30 inch) long.
• Shower Seat: Folding at roll-in shower only; set
top of
seat 46 cm (18 inch) above floor. White polyurethane
with anodized aluminum bearing parts.
• Water Diverter: Vinyl at roll-in shower; barrier-free
bottom
track with flexible vinyl insert; aluminum in chrome,
91 cm (36 inch) long.

guestrooms, suites (V.P. and President) and resorts. Mount
phone on wall within guest's reach from water closet. |
