10. Location of Sprinklers

1. electrical service rooms (including telephone equipment rooms),


2. mechanical equipment rooms (including generator rooms and pump houses),

 
3. elevator shafts, and

 
4. kitchen hoods, plenums and exhaust ducts unless the spaces are protected by an approved grease extractor that has passed the burnout test in accordance with ULC C710, "Standard for Grease Extractors for Exhaust Ducts", or protected by an approved fire suppression system (See Appendix)
