3. References
3.1 Codes and Standards
- (a) Except as required or permitted in this standard,
where a sprinkler system is provided, it shall be designed,
installed, tested and maintained in conformance with the
latest editions of NFPA 13, "Standard for the Installation
of Sprinkler Systems", the NBC and NFC together with Appendices.
- Where a sprinkler system is provided in one and two
family dwelling units or in mobile homes it shall be designed,
constructed, installed, tested and maintained in conformance
with NFPA 13D, "Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler
Systems in One- and Two-Family Dwellings and Mobile Homes".
- Where a sprinkler system is provided in buildings classified
as residential occupancies up to 4 storeys in building
height, it shall be designed, constructed and installed
in conformance with NFPA 13R, "Standard for the Sprinkler
Systems in Residential Occupancies Up To And Including
Four Stories In Height"
