Fire Extinguished At Planet Hollywood Tower
Fire Started On 46th Floor

LAS VEGAS -- A small construction fire has been extinguished on the 46th floor of a tower being built at the Planet Hollywood resort.

Fire Department spokesperson Scott Allison said firefighters are being released after an initial two-alarm call at 8:35 a.m. at the PH Towers by Westgate.

Hotel officials said the casino and hotel itself weren't affected.

The tower, part of a condominium expansion project, isn’t occupied.
