80 injured in UAE warehouse fire

Over 80 people were injured in a big fire in warehouses in a industrial zone in Sharjah of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the official WAM news agency reported.

The fire broke out in the warehouses containing chemical products and a wood depot, said WAM, adding the people were injuredwhen they were in nearby lodgings.

In addition to UAE troops, local civil defense units and police rushed to the spot and put out the blaze.
